Just for completeness (I will nevertheless accept as is):

Any chance to move this also to python3? py2 is 'dying' (slowly... very slowly) and it would be nice to move new packages right up to py3

Looks OK, but Release: should always be 0, as OBS automagically handles this.

besides the comment from mrdocs:

+Source: %{name}-%{version}.tar.gz

source should be pointing to upstream URLs where the tarball can be downloaded - this allows for verification of the shipped sources compared to what upstream published

All those parameter are implicit already in %configure
