Could you use python2 instead of python - /usr/bin/python might be dropped from factory (just python2 and python3 will stay)
I would like too but : there's no for example python2-wxWidgets for TW and Leap and normally all python2- package should provide the python- equivalent no ?

Ad python2-wxWidgets - I already submitted something see sr#538709
Oh that one, it is commented that's why I didn't add a line on .changes. It is a wip when qgis 2.18 will become the next ltr to improve a bit globally the spec.
