This will never build. If you are removing translate_packages.pl, please also remove reference to it in %files section and install instruction in the last line of %install section of the spec file (as well as the "Requires: perl-gettext" line). What is product builder, why it obsoletes translate_packages.pl and where can I learn something about it?
I obviously need to dedicate more brain capacity to this :)
It translate_packages.pl is a dirty hack and no longer needed. be happy that you do not know about it :-) product builder is a component of OBS that builds the repo and DVDs.
