Accept to openSUSE:Factory
Firebird seems not able to cope with this change (icu is the only change in this staging prj)
https://build.opensuse.org/package/live_build_log/openSUSE:Factory:Staging:M/firebird/standard/x86_64
I checked and see what's going on there. Need to choose from the available plans. Stay tuned.
Meanwhile, the other strange user of ICU is somewhere in the KDE ballpark IIRC, so getting a staging try with that would be great too.
kde, that's to say libqt*
libqt5 is part of the staging anyway (it's ring2) - :M was rebases this morning, so it is building Qt 5.11
There is also libreoffice having issues with this change
Is there still progress or is this icu experiment supposed to die off?
posted a firebird patch in 616579, maintainer is yet to come render a final decision.
osc getbinaries X11:common:Factory/icu standard x86_64
-> slap packages into /tmp/posc co openSUSE:Factory/libreoffice
osc build -p /tmp/p
inside o:F/libreoffice; the build completes, so I'll declare first half done.ok, so this seems to be a followup-error of the firebird build failure then...
