Script to check for certificate expiration. More upt to date version than
monitoring-plugins-ssl-cert-check. Furthermore it is not limited to be invoked
as monitoring-plugin in the context of Nagios/Icinga2, but can also be used
in a standalone fashion, so re-naming it accordingly seems to make sense to me.

Accepted, but please check the rpmlint output (ssl-cert-check.noarch: E: env-script-interpreter (Badness: 9) /usr/bin/ssl-cert-check /usr/bin/env bash) - this should be patched to avoid additional, unneeded dependencies.
