Overview
%__ln_s
should just be replaced by ln -s
.
Why not use the macro? Is it deprecated?
yes - see https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Specfile_guidelines#Macros_vs_shell_commands
These macros provide a better portability for the purpose of non-GNU platforms such as Solaris or FreeBSD where the GNU utilities may have names like gchgrp instead of chgrp. Since environments other than GNU/Linux are not the target of the openSUSE project at present, the use of such macros is most discouraged in favor of plain shell commands. The spec file cleaner bot even converts macros to their shell command counter part automatically.
