Cutecom is a QT4 based serial port access tool. openSUSE misses a proper tool for this purpose (minicom is a shell only tool). It seems cutecom is officially no longer developed, but it is very stable and does its job well. I found nothing better in the last year searching for a proper serial port access tool and I think adding it to Factory is longer overdue.
