This update bumps the dependency of gmime to version 3.0, which is not available in leap 42.3. In other words, the latest version will not be available for Leap 42.3.
Since 42.3 is reaching EOL this month, I think it makes sense to just remvoe it as a build target. Can a maintainer remove that build from the package?
It's automatically removed. There is generally no need to remove binary from the devel project.
