I only added the code fix and not the test, as the patch did not apply cleanly. This will no longer be needed with 1.18.1, but the fix is quite urgent for those who need it.
If the test is not present and the patch does not apply cleanly, does this mean we won't be able to get kubic to pass its CNCF conformance test if I accept this now?
The patch did not apply cleanly due to tests only. I assume that this is due to other changes that took place in the azure tests between 1.18.0 and the time of the patch being applied.
I am not familiar with the CNCF tests, but the patch only affects the client behaviour when authenticating against Azure AD. Since that scenario is basically broken with 1.18.0, I would say that the CNCF tests are not affected.
Feel free to skip on this one if you this the risk is too large, I can keep using the build from my home project until 1.18.1 is out.
