Thanks - 1.6 and 2.0 are different release trains (both are still supported). If we really want to move from 1.6 to 2.0 users should be at least warned about the fact the their configuration will break. The transition notes should also be mentioned https://gitlab.nic.cz/labs/bird/-/wikis/transition-notes-to-bird-2
