Something most be wrong here
The gnome install tests ends without a ~/bin directory as can be seen in the nautilus test
How does this nautilus test execute the useradd command?
It doesn't - it just happens to see it (not explicit tested for that) the user is the default user created by fast during the in installation of the system.
The kde/dolphin test also visualize the problem
I removed this request from Staging:B and the openQA tests started passing - as such I'd claim it proven that this request causes the error
at least at one point I could identify yast calling:
y2changes:2020-11-20 12:19:06 <note> install User post-add script called: '/usr/sbin/useradd.local bernhard'
Urgh, YaST does the copying by itself: https://github.com/yast/yast-users/blob/337589043b3c41fb8e1ad18de4badfd6050a09b2/src/modules/UsersRoutines.pm#L136
It would have to do something like cp -Rn /usr/etc/skel -T /home/bernhard/
in addition.
backlog; yast generated users are incomplete
Unignored: returned to active backlog.
