The requirements are all in perl core, no need to add them. Also if you would add any manual requirements, they should go into the cpanspec.yml. We automatically update modules using cpanspec, so any manual changes to the spec would be overwritten.
Btw, all CPAN modules are automatically generated under
devel:languages:perl:CPAN-*
: https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/devel:languages:perl:CPAN-F/perl-File-Renameso it's good to have a look there before creating your own from scratch.
I didn't react so far because OBS doesn't notify me about comments to submit requests.
I actually forked this package from there, but it was non-working (in particular it tried to install
/usr/bin/rename
