@dimstar, here we are agian. Apparently https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/959507 "raced" with an update of riscv (cross) binutils, and it was necessary to backport a patch from upstream opensbi, for it to (cross) build fine with that. Sorry for the annoyance!

Now the patch is there, and this builds fine in my branch.
