Reason to add the patch: The fix in https://invent.kde.org/plasma/plasma-workspace/-/merge_requests/1781 is not likely to be accepted by upstream in a short moment because d_ed wants to fix the bug in Qt, but unfortunately Qt people doesn't seem to be able to fix the bug very soon, and the currently proposed fix was basically rejected.
Can you add a link to the MR? BTW: I'm about to submit 5.25.0, depending on what is mergable first there might be a rebase needed
Sure, and this patch is based on 5.25.0 so perhaps no further rebase is needed.

This patch is on top of https://invent.kde.org/plasma/plasma-desktop/-/commit/ac8a3fd31a24abacb39ffce9b543efe239791a6e so I guess it's fine after updating to 5.25.0.
