Involved Projects and Packages
Back In Time is a backup tool for Linux inspired by the "flyback project".
It provides a command line client 'backintime' and a Qt5 GUI 'backintime-qt'
both written in Python3.
You only need to specify 3 things:
* where to save snapshots;
* what folders to backup; and
* backup frequency (manual, every hour, every day, every month).

versioningit — Versioning It with your Version In Git
versioningit is yet another setuptools plugin for automatically determining your package's version based on your version control repository's tags. Unlike others, it allows easy customization of the version format and even lets you easily override the separate functions used for version extraction & calculation.
Features:
- Installed & configured through PEP 518's pyproject.toml
- Supports Git, modern Git archives, and Mercurial
- Formatting of the final version uses format template strings, with fields for basic VCS information and separate template strings for distanced vs. dirty vs. distanced-and-dirty repository states
- Can optionally write the final version to a file for loading at runtime
- Provides custom setuptools commands for inserting the final version into a source file at build time
- The individual methods for VCS querying, tag-to-version calculation, version bumping, version formatting, and writing the version to a file can all be customized using either functions defined alongside one's project code or via publicly-distributed entry points
- Can alternatively be used as a library for use in setup.py or the like, in case you don't want to or can't configure it via pyproject.toml
- The only thing it does is calculate your version and optionally write it to a file; there's no overriding of your sdist contents based on what's in your Git repository, especially not without a way to turn it off, because that would just be rude.
This project contains packages required to use or setup peer to peer networks as well as other tools to share files.
LinuxDC++ is a Linux port of the Direct Connect client DC++. Though it is primarily aimed at Linux, it has been shown to work on other Unix-based operating systems as well. It is written in C++ and makes use of GTK+ for the user-interface. LinuxDC++ is free and open source software licensed under the GPL.
Various useful packages. Not intended for general use -- if you find one of my packages useful, send me a message and I'll send it to a proper devel project and Factory.
Moscow ML is a light-weight implementation of Standard ML (SML), a strict functional language widely used in teaching and research. Version 2.01 implements the full SML language, including SML Modules, and much of the SML Basis Library.

Synchronising data with all your little gadgets
Packages in this repository are intended for next version of openSUSE release. They should be quite stable but generally much less tested then packages from STABLE repo. Version updates can occur and sometimes something can be a little bit broken.
Dynamite is a tool and library for decompressing data compressed with PKWARE Data Compression Library and it was
created from the specification provided by a post in the comp.compression newsgroup. This contains the dynamite
binary.
Mount SynCE devices (Windows Mobile 2003+ PDAs and smartphones) as a filesystem using FUSE.
See http://synce.sourceforge.net/ for more information.
gcemirror is a Gnome application for synCE, for controlling your device from the desktop
SynCE-KDE KCEMirror is a system to interact with a Windows CE device by simply using your desktops display, mouse, and
keyboard. This system is made up of two dependent software components:
Screensnap is used on the Windows CE side to capture the screen of the device continuously, to compress this captured
image and to send it over the network to the client software on the PC. It is also responsible for synthesing keyboard
and mouse events on the Windows CE device, received from the PC client software.
kcemirror is the client software on the PC side. It receives the compressed image of the Windows CE screen,
decompresses it and displays it on the PC's screen.
RAPIP is the short form for "RAPI-Protocol". It is a full featured KIOSlave used to browse through a Windows Mobile
PDA's file system via the SynCE infrastructure, and to copy files to and from the PDA by drag and drop
via Konqueror, Dolphin, or any other KIOSlave enabled program. This is the KDE4/Qt4 version.
This library parses MIME Directory Profile which is defined in RFC 2425
See project homepage: http://libmimedir.sourceforge.net/
This contains the OpenSync plugin for syncing with pre-Windows Mobile 2005 devices.
Librapi2 is part of the SynCE project. The RAPI library is an open source implementation that works like RAPI.DLL, available on Microsoft operating systems. The library makes it possible to make remote calls to a computer running device.
RRA is part of the SynCE project: http://www.synce.org.
LZRTF compression library. It is used in the SynCE project.
