Simple emulator without sound. Takes a disk image filename as parameter as
well as "-o" for OpenGL video and "-f" for fullscreen. Needs ROMs
(ATARIBAS.ROM, ATARIXL.ROM) in /usr/share/a8e. Get them here:
http://vjetnam.hopto.org/index.php?frame=roms
Atari 400 and 800, Atari 400XL, 800XL and 130XE, and Atari 5200 game
console emulator.
Atari800 is an emulator for the 800, 800XL, 130XE and 5200 models of
the Atari personal computer. It can be used on console, FrameBuffer or X11.
It features excellent compatibility, HIFI sound support, artifacting
emulation, precise cycle-exact ANTIC/GTIA emulation and more.
Basilisk II is an Open Source 68k Macintosh emulator. That is, it enables
you to run 68k MacOS software on you computer, even if you are using a
different operating system. However, you still need a copy of MacOS and
a Macintosh ROM image to use Basilisk II.
Some features of Basilisk II:
- Emulates either a Mac Classic (which runs MacOS 0.x thru 7.5)
or a Mac II series machine (which runs MacOS 7.x, 8.0 and 8.1),
depending on the ROM being used
- Color video display
- CD quality sound output
- Floppy disk driver (only 1.44MB disks supported)
- Driver for HFS partitions and hardfiles
- CD-ROM driver with basic audio functions
- Easy file exchange with the host OS via a "Host Directory Tree" icon
on the Mac desktop
- Ethernet driver
- Serial drivers
- SCSI Manager (old-style) emulation
- Emulates extended ADB keyboard and 3-button mouse
- Uses UAE 68k emulation or (under AmigaOS and NetBSD/m68k) real 68k
processor
Advanced and feature rich MSX emulator. It supports most common machines
and a wide variety of extension hardware.
Also an SVI emulator, supports the ColecoVision and Sega SG-1000, SC-3000,
SF-7000 consoles.
This Linux port has no GUI whatsoever, so if you do not like to edit
undocumented configuration files
(~/.bluemsx/bluemsx.ini), I recommend to use openMSX.
Bandai WonderSwan and WonderSwan Color emulator.
Find an example config file in /usr/share/doc/packages/%name/cygne.cfg
Nintendo NES, Sega Master System, Sega GameGear, and NEC PC Engine
emulator.
A portable emulator for the HP (DEC, Compaq) AlphaServer ES40. The current
version is capable of running OpenVMS with some limitations. The goal is
to have a drop-in replacement for real ES40's. Emulates the Alpha AXP EV68CB
processor and other devices.
FCEUX is a cross platform, NTSC and PAL Famicom/NES emulator that is an
evolution of the original FCE Ultra emulator. Over time FCE Ultra had
separated into many separate branches.
The concept behind FCEUX is to merge elements from FCE Ultra, FCEU
rerecording, FCEUXD, FCEUXDSP, and FCEU-mm into a single branch of FCEU. As
the X implies, it is an all-encompassing FCEU emulator that gives the best
of all worlds for the casual player, the ROM-hacking community, Lua
Scripters, and the Tool-Assisted Speedrun Community.
This my (Ulrich Hecht's) update of Vincent van Dam's SDL port of Marat
Fayzullin's MSX emulator fMSX to the current 3.3 core.
Alt+Enter toggles fullscreen mode.
Includes the ROMs posted on Marat's homepage.
- full compatible with all currently dumped ROMs (also 6, 10, 16 and 18KB ROM formats)
- correct colour palette (matching the one in MAME)
- support for right controller emulation and complete keyboard emulation
- mathematics bug-fixes here and there
- screenshot save
- load/save BASIC listings in plain text file
- settings stored to .ini file
Run "FunnyMu -help" to learn about options and key assignment.

The Fuse utilities are a few tools which may be of occasional use when
dealing with ZX Spectrum emulator files. They were originally
distributed with Fuse, the Free Unix Spectrum Emulator, but are now
independent of Fuse and can be used on their own.
The available utilities are:
* createhdf: create an empty .hdf IDE hard disk image.
* listbasic: list the BASIC in a snapshot or tape file.
* raw2hdf: create a .hdf IDE hard disk image from another file.
* rzxcheck: verify the digital signature in an RZX file.
* rzxdump: list the contents of an RZX input recording file.
* rzxtool: add, extract or remove the embedded snapshot from an RZX file,
or compress or uncompress the file.
* scl2trd: convert .scl disk images to .trd disk images.
* snap2tzx: convert snapshots to TZX tape images.
* snapconv: convert between snapshot formats.
* tapeconv: convert between .tzx and .tap files.
* tzxlist: list the contents of a TZX file.
