Pyright is a fast type checker meant for large Python source bases. It can run
in a "watch" mode and performs fast incremental updates when files are
modified.

Pyright provides support for Python 3.0 and newer.

This script allows to generate and update symbol version linker scripts which
adds version information to the exported symbols. The script is intended to be
integrated as part of a shared library build to check for changes in the set of
exported symbols and update the symbol version linker script accordingly.

python3-exiv2 is a Python 3 binding to exiv2, the C++ library for manipulation
of EXIF, IPTC and XMP image metadata. It is a python 3 module that allows your
scripts to read and write metadata (EXIF, IPTC, XMP, thumbnails) embedded in
image files (JPEG, TIFF, ...).

It is designed as a high-level interface to the functionalities offered by
libexiv2. Using python’s built-in data types and standard modules, it provides
easy manipulation of image metadata.

Mailman is a mailing list manager from the GNU project.

Prism Ruby parser.

Create and manage complex tmux sessions easily.

Provides an implementation of the XDG Base Directory Specification.

The is a cargo applet to build and install C-ABI compatibile dynamic and static
libraries from Rust.

It produces and installs a correct pkg-config file, a static library and a
dynamic library, and a C header to be used by any C (and C-compatible)
software.

cmocka is an elegant unit testing framework for C with support for mock
objects. It only requires the standard C library, works on a range of computing
platforms (including embedded) and with different compilers.

Features:
* Support for mock objects
* Only requires the C library
* Several supported output formats (Subunit, TAP, jUnit XML)
* Fully documented API
* Test fixtures
* Exception handling for signals (SIGSEGV, SIGILL, ...)
* No fork() used
* Very well tested
* Testing of memory leaks, buffer overflows and underflows.

Also, CMocka tries to avoid the use of some of the newer features of C
compilers.

An SSH implementation in the form of a library. With libssh, you can remotely
execute programs, transfer files, use a secure and transparent tunnel for your
remote programs. It supports SFTP as well.

This package provides libssh from https://www.libssh.org that should not be
confused with libssh2 available from https://www.libssh2.org (libssh2 package)

There are projects which provide daemons needing to be able to create, modify
and delete Unix users. Or just switch user ids to interact with the system e.g.
a user space file server. To be able to test that you need the privilege to
modify the passwd and groups file. With nss_wrapper it is possible to define
your own passwd and groups file which will be used by software to act correctly
while under test.

If you have a client and server under test they normally use functions to
resolve network names to addresses (dns) or vice versa. The nss_wrappers allow
you to create a hosts file to setup name resolution for the addresses you use
with socket_wrapper.

To use it set the following environment variables:

LD_PRELOAD=libuid_wrapper.so
NSS_WRAPPER_PASSWD=/path/to/passwd
NSS_WRAPPER_GROUP=/path/to/group
NSS_WRAPPER_HOSTS=/path/to/host

This package doesn't have a devel package cause this project is for
development/testing.

This component of cwrap allows you to either test your PAM (Linux-PAM
and OpenPAM) application or module.

For testing PAM applications, simple PAM module called pam_matrix is
included. If you plan to test a PAM module you can use the pamtest library,
which simplifies testing of modules. You can combine it with the cmocka
unit testing framework or you can use the provided Python bindings to
write tests for your module in Python.

This package doesn't have a devel package because this project is for
development/testing.

priv_wrapper aims to help running processes which are dropping privileges or are
restricting resources in test environments.
It can disable chroot, prctl, pledge and setrlmit system calls. A disabled call always
succeeds (i.e. returns 0) and does nothing.
The system call pledge exists only on OpenBSD.

To use it, set the following environment variables:

LD_PRELOAD=libpriv_wrapper.so
PRIV_WRAPPER_CHROOT_DISABLE=1

This package does not have a devel package, because this project is for
development/testing.

resolv_wrapper makes it possible on most UNIX platforms to contact your own DNS
implmentation in your test environment. It requires socket_wrapper to be able
to contact it. If it doesn’t work on a special platform the wrapper is able to
fake DNS queries and return valid responses to your application.

This package doesn't have a devel package cause this project is for
development/testing.

socket_wrapper aims to help client/server software development teams willing to
gain full functional test coverage. It makes possible to run several instances
of the full software stack on the same machine and perform locally functional
testing of complex network configurations.

To use it set the following environment variables:

LD_PRELOAD=libsocket_wrapper.so
SOCKET_WRAPPER_DIR=/path/to/swrap_dir

This package doesn't have a devel package cause this project is for
development/testing.

Some projects like a file server need privilege separation to be able to switch
to the connnection user and do file operations. uid_wrapper convincingly lies
to the application letting it believe it is operating as root and even
switching betwen uids and gids as needed.

To use it set the following environment variables:

LD_PRELOAD=libuid_wrapper.so
UID_WRAPPER=1

This package doesn't have a devel package cause this project is for
development/testing.

git filter-repo is a versatile tool for rewriting history, which includes
capabilities not found anywhere else. It roughly falls into the same space of
tool as git filter-branch but without the capitulation-inducing poor
performance, with far more capabilities, and with a design that scales
usability-wise beyond trivial rewriting cases.

lomoco can configure vendor-specific options on Logitech USB mice (or
dual-personality mice plugged into the USB port). A number of recent
devices are supported. The program is mostly useful in setting the
resolution to 800 cpi on mice that boot at 400 cpi (such as the
MX-500), and disabling SmartScroll or Cruise Control for those who
would rather use the two extra buttons as ordinary mouse buttons.

You can configure which features should be enabled in
/etc/sysconfig/logitech_mouse

darktable is a virtual lighttable and darkroom for photographers: it manages your digital negatives in a database and lets you view them through a zoomable lighttable. it also enables you to develop raw images and enhance them.

Solaar will detect all devices paired with your Unifying Receiver, and
at the very least display some basic information about them.

For some devices, extra settings (usually not available through the
standard Linux system configuration) are supported. For a full list of
supported devices and their features, see docs/devices.md.
