The mission of the Apache Portable Runtime (APR) project is to create
and maintain software libraries that provide a predictable and
consistent interface to underlying platform-specific implementations.
The primary goal is to provide an API to which software developers may
code and be assured of predictable if not identical behaviour
regardless of the platform on which their software is built, relieving
them of the need to code special-case conditions to work around or take
advantage of platform-specific deficiencies or features.
The APR is used by both Open Source and Commercial projects, prominent
examples being the Apache HTTP server.
A companion library to APR, the Apache Portable Runtime.

Performance Co-Pilot (PCP) provides a framework and services to support
system-level performance monitoring and performance management.
The PCP open source release provides a unifying abstraction for all of
the interesting performance data in a system, and allows client
applications to easily retrieve and process any subset of that data.
The PCRE library is a set of functions that implement regular
expression pattern matching using the same syntax and semantics as Perl
5, with very few differences. The current implementation corresponds to
Perl 5.005.

Nim is a statically typed, imperative programming language.
Beneath a infix/indentation-based syntax with a (AST-based) macro
system lies a semantic model that supports a soft realtime GC on
thread local heaps. Asynchronous message passing is used between
threads. An unsafe shared memory heap is also provided for the
increased efficiency that results from that model.
A library for programmatically editing configuration files. Augeas
parses configuration files into a tree structure, which it exposes
through its public API. Changes made through the API are written back
to the initially read files.
The transformation works very hard to preserve comments and formatting
details. It is controlled by ``lens'' definitions that describe the
file format and the transformation into a tree.
GNU libmicrohttpd is a small C library that is supposed to make it easy to run an HTTP server as part of another application. GNU libmicrohttpd is free software and part of the GNU project. Key features that distinguish libmicrohttpd from other projects are:
* C library: fast and small
* API is simple, expressive and fully reentrant
* Implementation is http 1.1 compliant
* HTTP server can listen on multiple ports
* Support for IPv6
* Support for incremental processing of POST data
* Creates binary of only 30k (without TLS/SSL support)
* Three different threading models
* Supported platforms include GNU/Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD, OS X, W32, Symbian and z/OS
* Optional support for SSL3 and TLS (requires libgcrypt)
libmicrohttpd was started because the author needed an easy way to add a concurrent HTTP server to other projects. Existing alternatives were either non-free, not reentrant, standalone, of terrible code quality or a combination thereof. Do not use libmicrohttpd if you are looking for a standalone http server, there are many other projects out there that provide that kind of functionality already. However, if you want to be able to serve simple WWW pages from within your C or C++ application, check it out.
The PCRE2 library is a set of functions that implement regular

as Perl 5.
PCRE2 is a re-working of the original PCRE library to provide an entirely new
API.

ZXing ("zebra crossing") is an open-source, multi-format 1D/2D barcode image processing library. This package is provides a C++ port of the library.
A GUI front-end for GNU gdb written in modern C++.
Vim (Vi IMproved) is an almost compatible version of the UNIX editor vi. Almost every possible command can be performed using only ASCII characters. Only the 'Q' command is missing (you do not need it). Many new features have been added: multilevel undo, command line history, file name completion, block operations, and editing of binary data.
Vi is available for the AMIGA, MS-DOS, Windows NT, and various versions of UNIX.
For SUSE Linux, Vim is used as /usr/bin/vi.
Package vim contains the normal version of vim. To get the full runtime environment install additionally vim-data.
