Backupninja allows you to coordinate system backup by dropping a few simple configuration files into /etc/backup.d/. Most programs you might use for making backups don't have their own configuration file format. Backupninja provides a centralized way to configure and coordinate many different backup utilities.
The key features of backupninja are:
- easy to read ini style configuration files
- you can drop in scripts to handle new types of backups
- backup actions can be scheduled
- you can choose when status report emails are mailed to you (always, on warning, on error, never)
- console-based wizard (ninjahelper) makes it easy to create backup action configuration files
- passwords are never sent via the command line to helper programs
UnitTest++ is a unit testing framework for C++ designed for simplicity and portability. Features include no explicit test registration, good crash handling, fixtures, rich condition-checking functionality, minimal footprint for embedded environments

ADIOS2: The Adaptable Input Output (I/O) System version 2 is an open-source framework that addresses scientific data management challenges, e.g. scalable parallel I/O, as we approach the exascale era in high-performance computing (HPC).
ADIOS 2 bindings are available in C++, C, Fortran, Python and can be used on supercomputers, personal computers, and cloud systems running on Linux, macOS and Windows.
ADIOS 2 has out-of-the-box support for MPI and serial environments.
Kokkos Core implements a programming model in C++ for writing performance portable applications targeting all major HPC platforms. For that purpose it provides abstractions for both parallel execution of code and data management. Kokkos is designed to target complex node architectures with N-level memory hierarchies and multiple types of execution resources. It currently can use OpenMP, Pthreads and CUDA as backend programming models.
ParaView is an open-source, multi-platform data analysis and visualization application. Users can quickly build visualizations to analyze their data using qualitative and quantitative techniques. The data exploration can be done interactively in 3D or programmatically using ParaView's batch processing capabilities.
