This executable should be position independent (all binaries should). Check that it is built with -fPIE/-fpie in compiler flags and -pie in linker flags.
Please fix.
This is not really possible at the moment, because those binaries are bootstrap binaries coming from upstream (we don't compile them). But I'll talk to upstream if they can do this.
This SR is only to fix the issue with broken HTTPS connections, which leaves the package in an almost unusable way.
I'll come up with some improvements to the package in general in the next days :)
