Now that got me curious. As per my interpreation of https://www.businesswritingblog.com/business_writing/2012/01/punctuating-bullet-points-.html , both the "[period if it] completes the initial stem" and the "[no period if it's a] shopping list" criteria for/against trailing periods could be applied, so neither of us is wrong per se.
Good enough proof :-)
