Po4a extracts the translatable material from its input in a PO file.
When the PO file is translated, it re-injects the translation in the structure of the document, and generates the translated document.
If a string is not translated (i.e. it was not translated or it is "fuzzy"
because the original document was updated), the original string is used.
This permits to provide always up-to-date documentation.

po4a supports currently the following formats:
* manpages
* POD
* XML (generic, DocBook, XHTML, Dia, Guide, or WML)
* SGML
* TeX (generic, LaTeX, or Texinfo)
* text (simple text files with some formatting, markdown, or AsciiDoc)
* INI

KTechLab is an Open Source Intergated Design Environment (IDE) for electronic and PIC microcontroller circuit design and simulation.

Featuring an extensive circuit designer with autorouting and simulation of many common electronic components and logic elements, KTechLab is the idea tool for educational or hobbyist use.

KTechLab features an easy to use, flowchart based PIC program designer - Flowcoder; along with a BASIC like programming language called Microbe. Programs designed by these tools can be added to any circuit design as a 'virtual' PIC allowing complex microcontroller based circuits to be created.

KTechLab supports a wide range of Open Source PIC programmers, enabling finalised PIC programs to be quickly and easily transfered to a real PIC microcontroller.

Virtaal includes features that allow a localizer to work effectively including:
syntax highlighting, autocomplete and autocorrect. By showing only
the data that is needed through its simple and effective user interface it
ensures that translators can focus on their current translation task.

A rich set of Translation Memory (TM) plugins provide valuable suggestions to
the translator from sources such as Open-Tran.eu, the current file, and the
translators own TM server. Similarly Machine Translation (MT) suggestions can
come from Apertium, libtranslate, Google and Moses.

The terminology plugin system will provide terminology hints from Open-Tran.eu,
local terminology files and remote terminology repositories.

Placeholders such as variables, abbreviations, URLs, emails and special
punctutions are highlighted for easy insertion into the translations.

Virtaal is able to edit any of the following formats: XLIFF, Gettext PO and
.mo, Qt .ts, .qph and .qm, Wordfast TM, TMX, OmegaT glossaries and TBX. The
Translate Toolkit converters allow translators to edit: OpenDocument
Format (ODF), OpenOffice.org SDF, Java (and Mozilla) .properties, Mozilla
DTD files, subtitles, and other formats.

Gaupol is an editor for text-based subtitle files. It supports multiple subtitle
file formats and provides means of correcting texts and timing subtitles to match
video. The user interface is designed with attention to batch processing of
multiple documents and convenience of translating.

Gaupol should run on all Unix-like (GNU/Linux, *BSD, etc.) operating systems and
on Windows. Technically it should be able to run on Mac as well, but that has
not been tested nor made convenient. Gaupol's user interface is based on the GTK+
toolkit and has been designed to best fit the GNOME desktop environment.

libtranslate is a library for translating text and web pages between natural languages. Its modular infrastructure allows to implement new translation services separately from the core library.

md5deep computes the MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256, Tiger, or Whirlpool message digest
for any number of files while optionally recursively digging through the
directory structure. md5deep can also match input files against lists of known
hashes in a variety of formats.

hashdeep is a program to compute, match, and audit hashsets.

md5deep is a set of programs to compute MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256, Tiger, or Whirlpool message digests on an arbitrary number of files. md5deep is similar to the md5sum program found in the GNU Coreutils package, but has the following additional features:

* Recursive operation - md5deep is able to recursive examine an entire directory tree. That is, compute the MD5 for every file in a directory and for every file in every subdirectory.
* Comparison mode - md5deep can accept a list of known hashes and compare them to a set of input files. The program can display either those input files that match the list of known hashes or those that do not match. Hashes sets can be drawn from Encase, the National Software Reference Library, iLook Investigator, Hashkeeper, md5sum, BSD md5, and other generic hash generating programs. Users are welcome to add functionality to read other formats too!
* Time estimation - md5deep can produce a time estimate when it's processing very large files.
* Piecewise hashing - Hash input files in arbitrary sized blocks
* File type mode - md5deep can process only files of a certain type, such as regular files, block devices, etc.
