Deduplicating block based backup software for ceph/rbd, image files and devices.
FSArchiver is a system tool that allows you to save the contents of
a file-system to a compressed archive file. The file-system can be
restored on a partition which has a different size and it can be
restored on a different file-system. Unlike tar/dar, FSArchiver also
creates the file-system when it extracts the data to partitions.
Everything is checksummed in the archive in order to protect the data.
If the archive is corrupt, you just loose the current file, not
the whole archive.
Top like UI to show per-process I/O going on
iotop-c does for I/O usage what top(1) does for CPU usage. It watches I/O usage
information output by the Linux kernel and displays a table of current I/O usage
by processes on the system. It is handy for answering the question "Why is the
disk churning so much?".
iotop-c requires a Linux kernel built with the CONFIG_TASKSTATS, CONFIG_TASK_DELAY_ACCT, CONFIG_TASK_IO_ACCOUNTING and CONFIG_VM_EVENT_COUNTERS config options on.
iotop-c is an alternative re-implementation of iotop in C, optimized for
performance. Normally a monitoring tool intended to be used on a system under
heavy stress should use the least additional resources as possible.
The libStorageMgmt library will provide a vendor agnostic open source storage
application programming interface (API) that will allow management of storage
arrays. The library includes a command line interface for interactive use and
scripting (command lsmcli). The library also has a daemon that is used for
executing plug-ins in a separate process (lsmd).

This package includes the necessary programs for converting plain
password files to the shadow password format and to manage user and
group accounts.
Clojure is a dynamic programming language that targets the Java Virtual Machine (and the CLR, and JavaScript). It is designed to be a general-purpose language, combining the approachability and interactive development of a scripting language with an efficient and robust infrastructure for multithreaded programming. Clojure is a compiled language - it compiles directly to JVM bytecode, yet remains completely dynamic. Every feature supported by Clojure is supported at runtime. Clojure provides easy access to the Java frameworks, with optional type hints and type inference, to ensure that calls to Java can avoid reflection.
Clojure is a dialect of Lisp, and shares with Lisp the code-as-data philosophy and a powerful macro system. Clojure is predominantly a functional programming language, and features a rich set of immutable, persistent data structures. When mutable state is needed, Clojure offers a software transactional memory system and reactive Agent system that ensure clean, correct, multithreaded designs.
Erlang is a programming language designed at the Ericsson Computer Science Laboratory. Open-source Erlang is being released to help encourage the spread of Erlang outside Ericsson.
This is the development repository of the Lua programming language and its 3rd party modules for openSUSE.
Prosody is a flexible communications server for Jabber/XMPP written in Lua. It aims to be easy to use, and light on resources. For developers it aims to be easy to extend and give a flexible
system on which to rapidly develop added functionality, or prototype new protocols.
Node.js - Evented I/O for V8 JavaScript.
Upstream staging GIT branches for next to-be released versions of Node.
This package is based on the package 'perl-Class-Inspector' from project 'openSUSE:Factory'.
Class::Inspector allows you to get information about a loaded class.
Most or all of this information can be found in other ways, but they
are not always very conveniet, and usually involve a relatively high
level of Perl wizardry, or strange and unusual looking code.
Class-Inspector attempts to provide an easier, more friendly interface
to this information.
This module is needed to access ODBC databases from within Perl. The
module uses the unixODBC manager to connect to the database.
File::HomeDir is a module for dealing with issues relating to the location
of directories that are "owned" by a user, primarily your user, and to
solve these issues consistently across a wide variety of platforms.
Thus, a single API is presented that can find your resources on any
platform.
